Review by hotel critic
I recently returned from a delightful stay at the Sandford Hotel, a charming B&B in Blackpool that balances luxury and value quite well. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Mark and Nicky, who clearly prioritize guest satisfaction without being intrusive. The gesture of putting up birthday banners for my husband's special day was especially thoughtful. The sea view room we had was compact but functional, equipped with the standard amenities like tea and coffee facilities, a flat-screen TV, and comfortable bedding. Although the shower presented a minor issue due to roadworks, Mark promptly addressed it, displaying commendable responsiveness. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a generous array of choices, cooked to a high standard – you definitely won’t leave hungry! The bar area was inviting, with reasonably priced drinks and a relaxed lounge for downtime. The hotel’s central location makes accessing local attractions easy, with a tram stop just across the street. The Sandford represents great value for its price, offering attentive service and a comfortable stay for those looking to explore Blackpool without breaking the bank. I’d recommend it for anyone seeking affordability with a touch of comfort.
